Retrofit installation
Fit around what’s already there.
A two-piece component for an installation where the cables were already in place.

The challenge
Conventional one-piece components were impractical once cables had been installed. The design needed to accommodate the existing cables and the available fitting access.
The approach
Custom interlocking collars were developed in two pieces so they could be assembled around each cable without disconnection. The components were manufactured in ASA for this application.
The practical value
The split geometry addressed the installation constraint directly: fit the component around the cable, rather than disconnect the cable to fit the component.
